Access to the internet at broadband speeds when working remotely is now possible thanks to Vodafone's Mobile Broadband devices. For more information on devices please visit our Mobile Broadband page here.

How much data am I using?
Keeping track of your Mobile Broadband usage can be done within the Vodafone Mobile Connect software on your laptop. Simply click "View Usage" to bring up this information.*
From here you can also set limits so you are alerted when you reach a desired usage. To do this click on "Set Limit".
*Please note that the figure shown in the View Usage section is an approximate. For a more accurate figure click on your internet connection icon on your Task Bar (bar along the base of the screen, typically blue). This will show you how much data you've sent/received during your current browsing session.

Data Allowance and Fair Usage Policy.
Please be aware that your Mobile Broadband tariff will include either a monthly fair usage allowance or an inclusive data allowance. Using data above your allownace may incur additional charges or your service to be throttled. For full details on your tariff please speak to your Mobile Phone Business Partner or call Yes Telecom Customer Services.

Automatic Downloads
Be aware that many applications automatically connect to the internet to download updates, such as Anti-Virus software and Windows. This can prove costly so it is a good idea to disable them. This can typically be done within the application itself or through your laptop's Control Panel.

Mobile Broadband Abroad
Cost:
The cost for using your Mobile Broadband device abroad depends on your tariff. For more information visit our Using Your Data Abroad page.
Networks:
Certain Vodafone Mobile Broadband tariffs have inclusive data that can be used in certain countries. Therefore, be sure to connect to the network that belongs to the country you're visiting. Roaming close to the border of another country may cause your device to pick up a foreign network that may not be covered in your inclusive data. For full details and a list of countries visit our Using Your Data Abroad page.
